The members of Oak Leyden’s Emerging Leaders Council (ELC) invite you to join us for Halfcourt Heroes, our 1st annual 3V3 Basketball Tournament, on Saturday, August 22nd to support the important work being done by Oak Leyden. The ELC is proud to present this new event to raise awareness of Oak Leyden’s legacy of service, to raise funds to support their important mission, and have a great time.

Registration starts at 9:00AM with Round Robin play starting at 10AM. Participants will receive a commemorative t-shirt AND headband, as well as a boxed lunch to get them through the tournament in one piece.

Teams will call their own fouls, and we look forward to a great blend of competitiveness, sportsmanship, and FUN! We will be meeting after the event at the Circle Tavern for a post-tournament celebration, as well! Come join us and have a great day on the hardwood for a good cause.

Event Overview
Location	Elmwood Park Community and Recreation Center, 2 Conti Parkway, Elmwood Park, IL
Format	16 Teams • 4 Divisions of 4 • 3 Half-Court Baskets
Schedule Type	Full round robin within each division, division championships, semifinals, and final championship game
First Game	10:00 AM
Game Slot	12-minute running clock + 3-minute transition = 15-minute slot
Team Guarantee	3 round-robin games per team
Champions	Division A, B, C, and D Champions; semifinal winners; overall tournament champion
Lunch / Program	Post-tournament party at Circle Tavern (across the street) after tournament competition concludes.
Mission / Sponsor Moment	Sponsor thanks, Oak Leyden Mission Moment, awards, raffles/acknowledgements, and team photos occur during/after buffet lunch.
Operational Note	Court 3 is used for Kids Open Court time
